Okay so listen. I’m not all about this quote, let’s get that out there right away. Kanye, you might have a little bit of an attitude problem. Like, you might have some anger issues you need to work out. On the other hand, these lyrics resonate a certain truth.
The gift of presence.
I know we all show love in different ways, 5 love languages and all that shiz. But I would dare you to find me one person who doesn’t understand love in the form of another person’s presence. It speaks volumes, doesn’t it?
Some good friends of mine some years back were in a band called Being With. Let’s do that today. Let’s strive to Be With others today. Unplugged. Raw. Present. Unwrapped. Real. Let’s offer our true selves to each other as gifts of love. No time like, well, the present.
